On Holiday

Well, here we are, updating from Chiang Rai, in beautiful north Thailand. Wow, it's amazing up here, I never realised how much I miss the colour green, and how much I appreciate mountains on the horizon till we turned up here. So far, we've had a grand time. Spent a week in Bangkok, which is always busy and always great. Did a lot of shopping, watched Batman and Starwars, ate MacDonalds and fried rice, and then jumped on a nasty as bus and travelled all night to get to Chiang Mai, and then Chiang Rai. It's been great. Stayed with Tony (Chris's boss, runs Destiny Rescue) and Jenny and their 3 lovely girls, and their very cute toy poodle. So cute, in fact, that after much debating the issue, we are now the very excited owners of our very own toy poodle. Picture above. Still haven't named it though, it's been a few days. Lets just say we are having a few disagreements over what to call it. We've also done a brief trip up to Myan Mar and purchased 30dvds to watch at home, and a few bits and pieces. The street hawkers there were really really persistent, and we're not exactly new to it. Anyways, there's some photos above.
